Let me rephrase : Which scene he tries to include in all his films?
LA city lights seen from up a hill.
That scene got turned upside down and was used as the light pattern for the main ship in Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
I goofed (he likes that scene too). The scene that he tries to get in all of his movies is a TV showing the old, Jimmy Stewart, version of "It's a Wonderful Life".
I just rewatched Gremlins last night and it kind of smacked me in the forhead.
