Chemist depicted above is famous for synthesizing 2 substances. While one of them saved millions of lifes, the other one sent millions to the grave. What's the name of the chemist and which 2 substances did he synthesize ?

Fritz Haber

Synthetic Ammonia (for fertilizers for food growth) and Zyklon B (or lots of other poison gasses used by Germany in World Wars 1 & 2)

This is a semi guess since I really thought Fritz Haber wore glasses.

How about Felix Hoffmann who synthesized acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), marketed as Aspirin and diacetylmorphine (or heroin).
